Thousands of babies are still being legally murdered by self-managed abortion IN TEXAS each year.

We need strong support at the Texas Republican Party state convention in San Antonio on May 23-25 to help ensure that equal protection for babies is a top priority for Texas Republicans!

There are opportunities to make a big difference in your own county or local precinct even if you can’t make it to San Antonio in May.

Now is not the time to rest.

Since 2016, Abolish Abortion Texas and many grassroots abolitionists have made tremendous progress getting the Texas Republican Party platform to support completely abolishing abortion and establishing equal protection for Texas babies. Praise God!

But our work is not done. Not even close.

Unfortunately, many people still believe that abortion is already abolished in Texas when it isn’t.

In 2024, self-managed abortions remain legal for mothers in Texas and this type of abortion is rapidly exploding in number now that clinic-based abortions are no longer available in our state.

The reality is that babies are still unprotected in Texas.

And if Texas Republicans are going to lead the way on equal protection, they need to hear from YOU.

Here’s what you can do 👇

Republican Party of Texas conventions at the state and local level are great opportunities for grassroots abolitionists to make a difference.

Precinct conventions, March 5-23, 2024 (depending on your district)

Advocate for the Abolish Abortion Resolution at your local precinct convention to help give the resolution momentum at the state convention in San Antonio. Find your county chair here: ask about precinct/county conventions.
RESOLUTIONS: Print at least 3 copies of each of these resolutions and bring them with you to your precinct conventions. Print more if you want to give some away. You'll be asking your precinct convention to pass these resolutions onto the County/SD convention and then onto the State convention:

- Download the Resolution to Remove Compromising Language from RPT Platform
- Download the Presenter Talking Points
Become a delegate to the county/SD convention.

County/SD conventions, March 23, 2024

Depending on how your county and Senate District (SD) is organized, you will have either a county convention or a SD convention. Contact your county chair for more information.
Advocate for the resolutions you submitted in your precinct convention.
Become a delegate to the state convention.

Pre-convention advocacy, RPT state convention, May 20-22, 2024

Testify at RPT committee hearings prior to the convention. This is extremely important for influencing what the final 2024 party platform will be.

Republican Party of Texas (RPT) state convention, May 23-25, 2024

Attend as a delegate or assist AATX with distribution of materials on the Abolish Abortion Resolution to the 10,000+ delegates and attendees of the convention. This is a great opportunity to educate and activate many more Texas Republicans in the fight to abolish abortion in Texas.
