Over the last six years, we have rolled up our sleeves and gone to work to help strengthen the official stance of Texas Republicans on abortion.
And by the grace of God and with the help of many abolitionists showing up to help, we fought for and have steadily WON some good ground. It is exciting to see the progress we can make when we stick to godly principles and work together.
In those six years, we have significantly strengthened the Principles, Platform, and Legislative Priorities of the Republican Party of Texas (RPT).
Glory be to God for what He has done in our state!
But we can’t sit back and rest now.
Right now, we know there are people plotting how to use the RPT convention next month to try to walk back our victories and who want to reintroduce ungodly compromise back into the foundational principles of our Party.
We have plans to fight to keep that from happening and to make the Republican platform even stronger, but we need your help!
We need you to invest in this CRITICAL work and help us keep the ground we’ve gained and advance the cause of abolition in Texas even more!
With what looks like the overturning of Roe v. Wade looming, we may be at a defining moment for the cause of abolishing abortion by providing equal protection to babies.
Recent national media coverage means that more people are hearing about equal protection for preborn babies than ever before.The movement to abolish abortion is growing rapidly and this year’s RPT Convention in Houston could be a tipping point for the whole country on this critical issue.
Do Republicans want to protect innocent preborn babies with the same laws that protect the rest of us … or not?
Do we want to follow the higher law of God and the Constitution and practice the Golden Rule toward our tiniest neighbors … or not?
The work we plan to do at this convention is CRUCIAL to the direction of Republicans at a DEFINING time in the fight for lives in the womb, but we need funding to fuel this project.
We don’t want to lose the ground we’ve gained,
but we need your help to make it happen!
What do we want to do at the RPT Convention?
Volunteers
We already have over 30 volunteers committed to being on the ground in Houston with us during the convention June 16-18, and we’re hoping for even more!
We also have well over a hundred delegates who are attending as activists specifically to help speak for, vote for, and push for the abolition of abortion. And we know there are thousands of other delegates who are ready to support this effort.
Praise God for the people He has raised up!
We are encouraged by the strong support of people who want nothing more than to see babies equally protected and abortion abolished in Texas.
Exhibitor Booth
We have reserved an exhibitor booth that would give us an official public presence at the convention in the vendor hall. This will heighten our visibility and serve to provide a central place for people to find us and learn more about equal protection and abolishing abortion.
Digital Petition Tech
We will be seeking signatures for our petition to support the Resolution to Abolish Abortion. This will raise awareness of the resolution at the convention. With enough funding, we hope to have at least 10 people equipped with the phone app needed to digitally collect petition signatures from convention attendees. 10 people can gather a LOT of signatures in a few days!
Not only will this help us make delegates aware of the Resolution, but it will allow us to gather the contact information for each signer and add them to our email and texting lists. This is one of the most important things we will be doing during the convention.
Texas Republican delegates are EXACTLY the kind of grassroots leaders who need to hear our message, and this technology allows us to connect with them both during the convention and for the long-term.

Pamphlets/Stickers/Postcards
Nearly 10,000 Texas Republicans are expected to be at this convention, and we want our volunteers to get the message of abolition into the hands of as many as possible. We are in the middle of preparing a compelling booklet that explains abolition and equal protection and provides answers to common questions. We want to get this into the hands of as many of these grassroots leaders as we can. While it’s expensive to prepare, design, print, and hand these out, there is unlikely to be another golden opportunity like this for another two years. We’ve passed out pamphlets before at a previous RPT convention, and the fruit was powerful.
Our volunteers will also be distributing lapel stickers to all the petition signers inside the convention which will turn these delegates into walking billboards for abolition while also letting our volunteers know who has already signed the petition so they don’t solicit them again.
We will also be distributing targeted materials inside the convention hall at our exhibitor booth and elsewhere, like this newly designed postcard explaining equal protection.
We have lots of volunteers but we need to give them materials to distribute.

On top of all that, there are committees meeting that Monday-Wednesday before the main convention begins. A LOT of important work happens then that will affect the rest of the convention, so we need our team to be there the whole week!

We have volunteers ready to help us on the ground in Houston but we need YOUR HELP to equip them with the tools and materials needed to make a big splash at this CRITICAL convention.

Right now the RPT principles state, “We believe in the sanctity of innocent human life, created in the image of God, which should be equally protected from fertilization to natural death.”
The RPT platform states, “Since life begins at conception, we urge the Texas Legislature to abolish abortion through enacting legislation that would immediately secure the rights to life and would ignore or refuse to enforce any and all federal statutes, regulations, orders, and court rulings that would deny these rights” (Plank 325).
And the Legislative Priority calls upon the Legislature to, “Abolish abortion by ensuring the right to life and equal protection of the laws to all preborn children from the moment of fertilization.”
Do you agree with all that?
I sure do!
That is a strong stance! To protect ALL preborn children, it demands equal protection.
Make sure we don’t lose ground in Houston!
We have fought HARD to make sure that equal protection for all preborn Texans is a high priority in the RPT, but there are those who oppose it.
They want equal protection to be put on the back burner, at best, while they continue to pursue more compromised, unbiblical legislation instead—legislation that treats abortion like healthcare instead of treating it like murder.
They don’t like the idea of Texas taking the courageous stand to honor God and love our preborn neighbors by abolishing abortion NOW by upholding the Constitution.
That’s why we need your help to fund this project.
We need all hands on deck to fund the critical groundwork necessary to not only maintain the advances we have won, but to strengthen the RPT platform even more!
